Alan Popkin, AIA, LEED AP
Principal
Mr. Popkin has more than twenty years experience in the architectural and building industry, including 5 years in the roofing and sheet metal trades. His time spent in the construction field allows him to blend architectural creativity with practicalities of construction methodologies. Alan's understanding in all phases of architectural design and construction administration services give him the insight to tackle complex projects for a variety of corporate, medical, research, and manufacturing clients.
Alan is a strong communicator with equally strong process skills that result in the streamlined management of sophisticated and time sensitive projects. His service oriented and team approach promotes efficient project evolution, from the programming and conceptual design phases through the final closeout. At ahp Architects, Mr. Popkin strives to educate his clients, promoting innovative, environmentally sensitive designs and material selections. He is a LEED Accredited Professional and carries architectural registrations in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Indiana.
Corinne Maleski, NCIDQ Certificate No. 022306, LEED AP
Director of Interior Design
Mrs. Maleski has a keen eye for problem solving, innovative space planning and creative color technique. These talents all contribute to her ability to bring commercial interiors to life in a new light.
With a long history of collaboration with architecture teams, Corinne recognizes the strong and direct connection between building form and interior design. Understanding this relationship has guided her corporate, commercial and retail projects and helped clients to integrate innovative design solutions which expand upon the architectural vision. Another area of focus for Corinne is staying on top of the latest concepts, materials and technology in efficiency and green design. As a LEED Accredited Professional, it is Corinne's goal to bridge the gap between a company's desire to "be green" and the daunting task of deciding which specifications will best serve them long term.
Corinne is NCIDQ certified, the national certification standard for interior designers in the United States. She enjoys volunteering for non-profit and local church organizations, assisting them with interior design services ranging from color choices to furniture specification and lighting design.
