The Armajaro Foundation was established in 2001 in order to help local farming communities in Ghana to improve their living conditions and social environment.

All projects are run on a 'partnership basis' between the local community and Armajaro. The community usually provides free labour to the project and the Armajaro Foundation funds the cost of materials and technical expertise.

To date, the Armajaro Foundation has been involved in a number of projects that have resulted in the provision of water and electricity to entire villages as well as the construction of schools and churches.

New projects are proposed by Armajaro employees in consultation with the local community in which they operate. The Armajaro Foundation has an annually renewable budget donated by Armajaro Holdings Limited.
