Our firm provides services to both the private and public sectors of our community. The staff of Geotechnical Testing Services consist of a full time Registered Professional Engineer, draftsman, certified field and laboratory technicians and an administrative staff. Our field and laboratory technicians are ACI (American Concrete Institute), ATI (Arizona Technical Institute), Arizona Radiation Regulatory Agency, and NICET certified. Our field/ laboratory technicians have over 50 years of experience in field and laboratory testing. Our inspectors are certified by the City of Yuma, Yuma County and MCAS.Currently we own a CME-55 drill rig. This rig has a drilling range of 100 feet and is equipped to perform standard penetration tests and various field sampling.Our laboratory is AASHTO and ADOT certified in soils, concrete and asphalt. We have incorporated the requirements and standards of AASHTO into our laboratory operations in our Quality Control/ Quality Assurance program. Our laboratory meets the requirements of ASTM C-1077, E-329, D-3666 and D-3740. Our laboratory is equipped with the latest in field and laboratory equipment for soils, concrete, and asphalt testing. All of our equipment is regulated by the latest ASTM standards of quality. Our corporation has obtained the Federal Government's 8(a) certification and is registered DBE with the State of Arizona.We carry a one million dollar Errors and Omission insurance policy, and have all of the required coverage's for Auto, General Liability, and Workman' s Compensation.Our corporate office and laboratory are located on East 21st Street in Yuma, Arizona.Geotechnical Testing Services, Inc.
