We welcome vistors to our new Webpage. The past year has been exciting and challenging. In the effort to redesign our page we took a look back at images and references that would be used going forward. In one fast and short year we have taken the idea and concept from the drawing board and made things happen! Little did we know in 2010 while planning our daughter's wedding that the crude sketches and mock-up models in dad's workshop would lead to the mold design image you see here. The Bal-Last Interlocking Ballast System (TM)Concept began with a foam and luan plywood model. We took our idea to a local mold designer and the result is what you see here. The past year of financing and commissioning the mold took us to product development and ultimately to growing sales. Most recently we had to make some changes to our logo and product name to better differentiate ourselves. Bal-Last will be the last ballast method you need to try and will provide the best and most uniform system available.

Local Support

Throughout this journey we were very pleased to find all of the talent and skills needed to make this dream come true. They were right here in our local region. The mold designer, machine shop, molding and production facilities are literally within a 40 mile radius of our home base. We have been very satisfied with the skill and talents and the advice we have received from all of the professionals we have worked with. We are proud to be Made in America! We drew on family talents and skills to build our graphics and and to make a name for ourselves in a very short time. Out of this we have had some good laughs and found our smiley face caption you see here. I think it represents our personality and creativity. Sometimes you have to look beyond the current goal to see the finer points of a given situation. This past year we had some challenges that gave us a chance to learn and improve. We think we are better and stronger for it and have been successful along the way. We are still a small business operating in a Global Environment and see a bright future.
