We are proudly establishing our grooming salon as the BEST in the area. Our growth by referrals (reputation) has been phenomenal in the last 18 months.

Our policy is to give your pet individual attention during their grooming appointment. We do NOT keep your dog all day...they are groomed by appointment and out they go. Walk ins are accepted ONLY with the understanding they will be worked in IF possible and their groom time will be longer accordingly.

Nails are cut or dremeled without an appointment. It would be expedient to call to make sure a groomer is present.

Nikki, the grooming manager, joined Barking Baby's Bathhouse in September 2009. With 28 years of grooming experience having owned her own business , she competently grooms all breeds of dogs and cats. Hand scissoring and stripping are also part of her grooming skills. Her knowledge through breeding and grooming is a valuable resource for all our customers and is greatly appreciated. Many of Nikki's former grooming clients have followed her which is an excellent testimony to her grooming career.

Nikki is one of few groomers who will take the time to learn how YOU want your pet to be groomed. But, she will not hesitate to tell you when something cannot be done due to the type of coat or the condition of a dog's coat. Nikki tells it like it is...honest and straight about your pet's behavior and condition. She has received many thanks for advising that a vet been seen immediately. Another example is severely matted dogs will not be painfully combed out but will be shaved to the longest length possible. She has been requested to groom a poodle...so it does not look like a poodle!!! Is she a miracle worker???? We think so!

Jean has been with Barking Baby's since 2006. She grooms part time on weekends. Though she has a gentle special way with dogs, she is an excellent cat groomer. Jean accommodates those who need EARLY morning hours...starting at 7 am for some customers.

Cecile is our newest groomer joining us in the fall of 2010. She has 17 years of grooming experience.
She specializes more with dogs than cats. Cecile also takes the time to ask how each pet is to be groomed. The main stipulation is that she will not painfully comb out severely matted dogs. They will be shaved the longest length possible. Many of Cecile's loyal grooming customers followed her when she joined Barking Baby's. That is truly a testimony to her grooming skills and what her clients think of her. A very high regard of confidence and respect for Cecile personally and for her grooming abilities.
