In 1978 we started as a rep of raw materials to the food, feed, pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries.

Around 1991, we evolved into selling cosmetic accessories at one of the specialty department stores. As a result of going from counter to counter and putting the "tools of their trade" into the makeup artist''s hand so they could test them, we were asked about about a makeup brush cleanser which would, clean, condition, sanitize, dry quickly and have a pleasant order. We had a good friend who was a formulator and we got some samples and presented them to the makeup artists. It turned out to be revolutionary in the sense it was the first spray on makeup brush cleanser on the market and allowed makeup artist clean their brushes in front of the customer. At that time, many of the makeup artist were not permitted to do makeovers in the department stores.

Brush Off started in a garage in Manhattan Beach, CA. We moved to Oregon in 1995 and stayed there for 10 years. The Opportunity Foundation of Central Oregon (OFCO), which employed adults with developmental disabilities, were a critical part of our team and did all the assembly of products. It was great in that we would get orders from large cosmetic companies. We would give them the pre-packs, paperwork, pallets, bottles, etc and they palletize, shrink-wrap and strap the pallets and call in the freight companies. In 2004, I moved to Cape Cod to follow the sun, my son, and operated remotely from Bend, OR until the beginning of 2010 when I moved our office permanently to Cape Cod.

Our new website is up and working. We are a small company and priorities can take over so we do all our updates live. We try to share that with you, so you will understand if one of the parts looks unfinished. Do not despair, it will be completed and we are excited about offering some unexpected features.

- SDS Sheets in North American and European Union formats are available
- You may order for multiple locations with the same credit card
- Freight is computed for each location
- You will receive separate invoices
- You may download a quote before ordering and review it internally
- Because Brush Off contains alcohol, by air it must be shipped as a dangerous good
- We are trained and certified to do so
- By ground, they just need to be shipped with a limited quantity label
- We do not ship by Amazon because
- They tend to use USPS
- It is illegal for Brush Off to be shipped this way because it can end up in the air.
- There are huge fines for not complying
- We use UPS for ground shipments to US (48 states), Canada and Mexico
- We use FedEx Express for air shipments to countries that permit deliveries
- We use FedEx Freight 023 Shipments when they must be picked up at the airport
- We are not freight experts. If you wish to arrange your own we will have it ready
