C.E. Holt Refrigeration was established on April 1st, 1961 as a refrigeration company with only three employees. Six years later, C.E. Holt expanded their services to not only include refrigeration, but also installation and sales. As new opportunities developed and growth occured within the company, C.E. Holt continued to service the Charlotte area as well as all surrounding areas.

Mrs. Holt retired in 1988 and C.E. retired shortly after in 1994. Their son Jeff took over the company and decided to expand into the foodservice equipment industry. With this new development, C.E.Holt outgrew their current location and moved in 2003 to the Derita area into a larger facility which now employs over 95 people.

Today, more than 50 years later, C.E. Holt proudly serves Southern Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Georgia with Service, Sales, and Installation and most recently electrical.
