Centrex Plastics is a specialized custom plastic injection molding manufacturing facility. We have earned an excellent reputation within the plastics industry by focusing on customer satisfaction!

We use the following materials in the manufacturing of our products: ABS, ABS PC, ACETAL, PP (Polypropylene), Clarified PP, Talc Filled PP, Glass Filled PP, TPO, Nylon, Nylon 6, HDPE, LDPE, PVC, PC PBT, and TPE. We focus on the following industries: automotive, heavy truck, consumer goods, toys, packaging, and medical.

Company History

Centrex Plastics has evolved many times throughout our storied history. We were originally established in 1926 as Central Rubber Reclaiming Company. We transitioned into a rubber manufacturer and molded plastic manufacturer in 1961. Then in 1963, the name was changed to Centrex Corporation. In 1986, the rubber manufacturing portion of our business was phased out and the company then concentrated solely on plastic injection molding. During this process, additional markets were introduced to the company.

In 2003, Centrex Plastics acquired the assets from Centrex Corporation. While the company has maintained its place in the automotive and heavy truck markets, we have expanded our retail product lines. Our growing business has resulted in the addition of two new manufacturing locations in Ohio and South Carolina to better serve our customer base.

Our Findlay, Ohio Facility features a 140,000 sq. ft. Manufacturing Facility, 500,000 sq. ft. of Warehousing, 24/7 Operation, MRP/EDI Capabilities, “Real Time” Communications & Tracking, ISO/TS 16949:2002 Certification, and 32 Presses with 27 Automated Robotics Systems.

Our Tiffin, Ohio Facility features a 100,000 sq. ft. Manufacturing Facility, 80,000 sq. ft. of Warehousing, 24/7 Operation, MRP/EDI Capabilities, “Real Time” Communications & Tracking, 7 Presses with 4 Automated Robotics Systems, and a Profile Extrusion Line.

Our York, South Carolina Facility features a 42,500 sq. ft. Logistics Facility, 24/7 Operation, MRP/EDI Capabilities and “Real Time” Communications & Tracking.
