Founded in 1901, Columbia Steel has grown to become a worldwide leading manufacturer of steel alloy and iron alloy impact and wear resistant replacement parts for basic industry. Industries served include: aggregate, hard rock mining, dragline mining, metal scrap shredding, cement manufacturing, coal-fired power, and more.

Founded in Portland, Oregon in 1901, Columbia Steel has been continuously operating and manufacturing all castings in the USA.
During World War II, Columbia Steel manufactured stern and props for Liberty Ships, assembled near by in the Port of Portland.
