We at Erickson Laboratories are genuinely concerned for the well being of our patients and strive to offer an environment that is sensitive to the differing needs and range of emotions patients wearing or needing a prosthetic eye may have. Our patients are fit with a custom ocular prosthesis and given individual-specific recommendations and instruction regarding everyday and ongoing care. New and old patients alike are always welcome to consult with us or ask any questions they may have concerning the personal care of their artificial eye and socket. Our patients' satisfaction is of utmost importance to us. A licensed third generation Ocularist since 1996 Rebecca is a perfectionist. Her grandfather, Charles E. Erickson, originally started the business on May 1, 1944. The business was passed from its founder to his son, Gerald R. Erickson, to Gerald's daughter, Rebecca S. Erickson, B.C.O. B.A.D.O., licensed ocularist. She masterfully creates beautiful prosthetics and gives comfort to her patients with her easy-going personality. Rebecca was trained by her father a true master of the profession. She grew up in the profession starting in 1986. Rebecca understands all the aspects of quality prosthetic eye creation and care. She enjoys the interaction the profession of Ocularisty allows with her patients. A licensed Ocularist since 2008, Amy served her apprenticeship under Rebecca Erickson's training and supervision. Amy has been here at Erickson Laboratories since 1999. Amy is talented and a wonderful people person. Amy has a unique perspective of her work. She is not only a valued employee of Erickson Laboratories; she is also a patient since the tender age of 7. Amy feels that your eyes are such an important aspect of your appearance and should be treated with the best possible care to smoothly adapt to being a single vision person who can live without reserve of their loss. She also gives that little extra attention to children and their parents as well as the elderly.
