On May 31, 1987 this church was established by Pastor Raymond Talavera and for 25 years Glory of Christ Church has been faithfully serving the community of Ellis Avenue. On December 9, 2009 we suffered a tragic event. Someone entered the church building vandalizing everything before setting it on fire. For 7 months we were being molded and refined; But to God be the praise Jesus made a way. On July 9, 2010 reconsecrated the building to The Lord and on Sunday, July 11, 2010 we reopened the out church building to the public. Today we are back in the community. Striving to serve the best way we can for the glory of His name.
