In partnership with its customers, Greenville Tool & Die (GTD) designs and builds high quality metal stamping dies offering production manufacturers turnkey solutions to meet the demands of today complex parts and advanced high strength materials. Greenville Tool & Die has established itself as a leader in the industry by providing tooling expertise from structural parts to Class A finishes. We have the capability to design and build automotive, appliance, trucking, construction, agricultural, and lawn and garden tooling from small line dies to very large transfer and progressive dies.

GTD is known for its highly skilled craftsmen (most of whom have completed its nationally recognized apprenticeship programs) and their ability to work with the customer through all stages of a project, from the design to the building of metal stamping dies. The entire GTD facility is computer networked with a state-of-the-art CAD department transposing customer data of many forms into articulate designs.

All manufactured die components are CNC-machined. We have the tryout press capability to match our customer's needs. Computerized die simulation facilitates the tryout process. Capability studies are conducted to ensure that the customer's quality standards are met.

Greenville Tool & Die has the capabilities, and the flexibility, to meet all of its customer's needs, from the design process all the way to production. Tooling expertise from complex parts like pillars, underbodies, and rails to Class A finishes including roofs, sunroofs, tailgates, hoods, bumpers, refrigerators, washers, and dryers. Design and build capabilities for high quality, close tolerance, metal stamping tooling from small tandem line dies to large progressive and transfer type dies. We are very experienced with advanced high strength and dual phase materials and have tryout capabilities up to 2200 tons accommodating dies up to 96" wide X 240" long. Simple and complex progressive dies to 72" X 200" and weighing more than 25 tons may have up to 6" draw depths and 12" - 15" pitches. We build 3-9 station transfer dies requiring ram tonnages up to 2200 tons and up to 30 strokes per minute. Traditional transfer as well as walking beam type including servo drive control.
