Our Founder
Henry Lewis Coshatt, founder of the H. L. Coshatt Company, got his start working for a National Pharmaceutical Wholesaler. For 20 years he helped pharmacies improve their productivity and increase sales by assisting them with his designs to improve their physical locations. Henry realized that he was limited in how he could help his customers in his capacity working with the pharmaceutical wholesaler, so he left to start the H.L. Coshatt Company, Inc. in 1971. He quickly became nationally known in the pharmacy industry and the Company has since become one of Lozier's largest distributors.
Our President
James A. Ward III, MBA, CMA, became President and majority stockholder of our company in 2008. Previous to coming to our company, he served as a management consultant for 12 years, including 8 years with Ernst &Young, helping clients with planning and operations efficiencies. He served for 8 years as President of a mechanical contracting and fabricating company serving Hospitals, and later became President of a component medical device company, which used clean rooms for the manufacturing areas, similar to ones used by our pharmacy customers. After much research, Mr. Ward found the H. L. Coshatt Company to be uniquely positioned to provide the highest value to the customers in its marketplace, and decided to invest in it.
