HITT's Sustainable Construction program develops solutions that meet the challenges of sustainability on the job-site and assists project teams from preconstruction through project closeout, including providing project team and subcontractor support and leading in-house training efforts. We believe that "green" construction extends beyond the LEED point system and individual project requirements. We know that to be able to best advise our clients, we need to also be responsible on a corporate level. To do this, we have taken steps to becoming more environmentally responsible. Our formal recycling program includes a company-wide recycling effort, which extends outside of our offices and onto our jobsites. We use trash and debris removal companies that deal specifically with hauling and recycling construction waste. We also offer continuing in-house training opportunities to better educate all employees on the requirements of green construction.
