MY INTERVENTION SPECIALTIES



Intervention Facilitator

Interventionists require proficient skills to facilitate the intervention successfully. As a highly skilled facilitator, I excel in leading the intervention in a calm, respectful, supportive manner to help the client accept treatment, achieving a success rate of over 95%.



Co-facilitated interventions

Interventionist gender can negatively impact the success of interventions. Due to their respective histories, addicted women may be traumatized in the absence of a female interventionist, just as men may benefit from the presence of a male interventionist. In my practice, I have pioneered co-facilitated interventions, so client needs are met by including a gender-matched interventionist.



Women's interventions

Overwhelmingly, women with addictions have suffered physical, sexual, and/or psychological abuse. As adults with low self-esteem and lack of self-confidence, they feel powerless, while feared consequences prevent them from seeking help. In my interventions, I take such crucial issues into account, and address each woman's individual needs.



Adolescent Interventions

Teenagers abusing drugs and alcohol often suffer acute, devastating consequences. Experimentation can be life-threatening. Often in deep denial, and unpredictable in nature, adolescents may become enraged when confronted about drug and/or alcohol addiction. I patiently facilitate an understanding, calm atmosphere, and assertively defuse anger, enabling the teen to accept help.



Executive Interventions

My approach to executive interventions emphasizes both the needs of the individual and the concerns of the company. I work closely with Senior Management and Human Resources, to insure all steps taken fall within the company's Policies and Procedures.
