It is with great pride and respect that I present to you our company and honor our founder, my father, Joe Dale Setina, better known to all as JOE TEX.

Joe Tex passed away in June of 2003, however Joe Tex's spirit and encouragement is very much alive every single day at Joe Tex Inc., to help inspire our employees in doing their very best to meet your transportation requirements. That was the way he lived and what he taught anyone that spent any time with him to do. We assure you that his work ethic, dedication, and determination to see that the job is handled right and on time are the principles that he instilled in each and every one of us. We are pleased to carry on and expand his proud tradition of serving the transportation industry and invite you to allow us to be your partner in solving all logistical needs.

Joe Tex had a way of working with people to get problems solved and find the right solution to a difficult challenge. He started with a telephone, a yellow legal pad, a desire to serve his customers and his carriers, if that required 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year that was what Joe Tex did and we continue to follow his example. However, he did give up his yellow pad to bring us into the electronic information age and we are continually upgrading our computers and systems to furnish you with the latest cutting edge technologies. Joe Tex also knew that it was imperative to have the best people on board as managers, dispatchers, and staff. He was able to attract and retain some of the very best in the business and our core management team represents more than 100 years of transportation experience.

As with all good leaders, Joe Tex had certain beliefs and honored words of wisdom which, on a regular basis, he imparted to us all. Take care of what takes care of you. This was one of his favorites and in this case he was referring to our customers, carriers and his employees, this phrase has a direct meaning in all aspects of the Joe Tex Inc. family everyday of our lives. Another Joe Tex saying that has been very instrumental in the growth and success of our company over the years was Freight does not move by itself, you must deal with the principals involved, build lasting relationships, deliver the service you promised, and always be fair and honest. Good sound business principles and truths of life which he placed as the foundation for the company to grow and become successful.

Joe Tex, Inc. is most pleased to announce the formation of a sister company to help us better serve your needs, Joe Tex Xpress. Joe Tex Xpress is a rapid growing company which runs their own fleet of trucks and employs numerous owner/operators which specialize in flatbed loads. We handle loads up to 51,000 lbs. or can accommodate whatever size load you may require. Large, small, or permitted, between Joe Tex Inc. and Joe Tex Xpress we are even more dedicated and capable of serving all of your transportation requirements.
