MD Online Solutions specializes in the implementation of tailored online solutions that enable health care providers to improve patient care, customer service, and office efficiency. The collaboration between physicians and web developers which resulted in ShotsHurtLess.com formed the foundation for MDOS. Now, utilizing our 20 years of combined medical and technology experience and 4 years of practical, day-to-day experience with physician web sites, we have developed solutions that can transform the practices they serve.

MEET OUR TEAM:

GRETCHEN HOYLE, MD - CEO
Gretchen has been a practicing pediatrician in the Winston-Salem area since 2001. In 2007, she initiated the development of an improved web site for her office, Twin City Pediatrics (ShotsHurtLess.com). Since launching the site, Gretchen has developed expertise in the practical use of web-based technologies and corresponding work flow strategies in the private practice office setting. Her experience with online technologies in her practice inspired the creation of the MDOS Disease Management Database. She co-founded MD Online Solutions in 2010 to create custom solutions for medical practices interested in leveraging online technology to improve patient care, customer service, and office efficiency.

Gretchen graduated from Wake Forest University School of Medicine in 1997. She completed her Residency in Pediatrics at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in 2000 and served as Chief Resident in Pediatrics 2000-2001. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. TOP

STEVE VEST - COO
Steve has more than 10 years of experience in web development, marketing, and management. His collaboration to create ShotsHurtLess.com established the foundation for MD Online Solutions. Steve oversees all aspects of client experience, software graphic user interface design, and operations for MDOS. In 2010, Steve co-founded MD Online Solutions to explore and refine the use of online technology as a tool to facilitate quality improvement within the health care industry.

Steve received his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics at North Carolina State University with a concentration secondary education. He received his Masters in School Administration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte as a member of the inaugural class of North Carolina Principal Fellows. During his 13 years as a teacher, coach, and administrator in the North Carolina Public Schools, he created one of the first custom school web sites in the Charlotte-Mecklenberg system as part of the a Total Quality Management program geared toward improving communications between parents and teachers. Prior to joining MDOS, Steve founded and managed the interactive division of a Winston-Salem advertising agency, specializing in all aspects of web site planning and construction, Flash development, and content management systems integration. CAROLINE SHAH-KHAN -- CDO
Caroline joined the MD Online Solutions family in the Spring 2010. She brings to the company extensive software development management experience with a strong emphasis on Quality Assurance and Quality Control. Caroline has ten years of experience in all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle. In her most recent position she was the Director of Quality Assurance for JD Edwards, A PeopleSoft Company. She has been CSTE (Certified Software Test Engineer) certified and worked with ISO 9000 companies implementing custom software solutions.

Caroline's presence at MD Online Solutions ensures that our software works. The reality of producing functional, quality software is a daunting task. Nothing is more frustrating than investing time and money into a software solution that does not meet expectations or that is riddled with basic software defects. Caroline?s quality perspective on software development distinguishes MD Online Solutions? products in the marketplace. Quality is not an afterthought in our process, rather it is infused in each step of the development lifecycle to ensure that our product does what we say it does and does it correctly the first time.

Caroline earned her Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Post graduation, Caroline worked for Accenture, Bank of America, and JD Edwards World Source Company (A PeopleSoft Company). TOP
