Milender White Construction Co. (MWCC) is a Colorado-based general contractor, providing comprehensive pre-construction and construction management services. The firm brings extensive experience to complex construction projects, both negotiated and competitively bid. MWCC is broken up into four divisions: Rocky Mountain, Special Projects, MW Solar and MW Telecom Group. In 2010, MWCC acquired USFM as a wholly owned subsidiary.
The company has successfully managed high-rise projects, historic preservation and restoration projects, multi-family apartments/condominiums, military housing, affordable housing, renewable energy projects, high tech, hospitality, industrial, K-12, municipal, office, structured parking, recreation and retail.
We are proud of our record for enjoying close relationships with a large number of long-term, like-minded clients and have an enviable amount of repeat business.
Our comprehensive preconstruction and planning services add value to any size and type of construction project and ensure that our clients get the most from their construction dollar. In addition to performing traditional quantity take-off and estimating, our preconstruction professionals excel at defining scopes of work; assessing alternative materials, systems or construction methods; and developing detailed project logistics plans.
During the preconstruction phase, MWCC builds a multi-disciplinary estimating team to create accurate estimates and to refine them as the design progresses. To get every detail right, we develop reliable cost models to guide construction. Our team produces hundreds of estimates annually, ranging from conceptual to detailed working-drawing estimates. With advanced computer-based tools, our preconstruction team will develop a comprehensive plan to ensure that your project is a success.
The day-to-day oversight of the construction site and management of trades and suppliers is as essential to the quality of the finished product as the design, materials and craftsmanship. MWCC's general contracting approach is founded on teamwork, collaboration and open communication between all project stakeholders. Our general contracting services include:
Bid Award
Purchasing and Procurement
Permitting
Construction Supervision
Cost and Schedule Control
Progress Reporting
Start-up and Commissioning
Close-Out
Warranty Administration
Additionally, MWCC has self-performing capabilities that afford us complete control over significant material requirements that otherwise would be subcontracted thus reducing project risks.
MWCC embraces the spirit of collaboration and teamwork necessary to insure successful design-build projects. We leverage our previous relationships with leading Architects and Engineers and carefully assemble our design-build teams to specifically respond to the unique requirements of each project.
Our proactive leadership throughout the design and construction phase combined with our technical expertise in project scheduling, cost estimating, constructability reviews, and systems analysis adds value to our clients and efficiency to our design partners.
Through USFM, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Milender White Construction Co., we provide security-cleared facility maintenance and construction staff resources to government agencies and private companies housed within highly-secured facilities.
The Company specializes in repair, retrofit and new construction activities for data center applications, Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF), and traditional electrical / mechanical / construction services for secured facility designs. USFM is ready and able to assign staff within highly guarded facilities on a full-time basis or, if deemed in the best interest of the client, respond quickly to an emergency of highly-sensitive issues with our own in-house forces.
MWCC has performed a multitude of restoration and rehabilitation projects. We are particularly proud of our reputation for successfully completing many restoration and rehabilitation projects in fully occupied and/or operational facilities.
Restoration is the process of re-building and preserving a building that is deteriorating due to natural aging or neglected maintenance. Rehabilitation is often required as a result of poor original construction practices or lack of quality control.
