Nichols Power Systems was created on the foundation of providing the best possible service and highest quality product and at a competitive price. Owner and President, Fred Nichols, saw the need and opportunity for an electrical company with these ideals, the same he demanded of his own subcontractors.

NPS was formed in 2007 to partner with Nichols Contracting, Inc to perform the electrical and fire alarm work required for their projects. Initially this work mainly revolved around elevator modernizations and small building renovations. While this continues to be the core business, NPS has grown to become a full service fire alarm and electrical contractor. We perform turn-key services including high-rise fire alarm replacements and electrical upgrades to generator replacements and emergency power systems upgrades. No job is too big or too small.

In addition to renovation and replacement projects, NPS provides electrical and fire alarm service work. NPS is available for emergency service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Not only is NPS partnered with a general contracting company, we maintain valuable relationships with electrical engineers, fire protection engineers, NICET certified consultants and employees, electrical supply vendors, fire alarm dealers, and generator vendors. These relationships allow us the ability to provide high quality turn-key services with little risk to ourselves and our customers. We know the 'how' and the 'who' required to get the job done.
