The concept of what a modern day kitchen should be has been drastically redefined. What used to be thought of as work space is now being thought of as living space. The transformation requires the services of an experienced remodeling team. That's where the folks at Platte River Kitchens come in. We have produced hundred of designs that reflect this trend toward entertaining in the kitchen. And while most of the firms in our industry prefer to leave the field work to others, we believe in providing the complete package, making us a true one-stop shop. It all starts with a free, in-home consultation. From the very beginning, you'll see the difference in the way we do things. You'll experience a professional approach that focuses on you and what you want to accomplish. To facilitate the process, we've developed a technique for evaluating your project that's designed to produce a preliminary scope, timeline and budget by the end of our first meeting. If you should have us go forward and produce a design, we'll do so with a highly sophisticated software program capable of rendering full color, photo realistic images of your new kitchen. You'll be able to see what it looks like before the work ever begins. Then we'll assemble a detailed scope of the project and provide a fixed price that fits into the budget we discussed during the initial consultation. Usually after two or three sessions, the design and project scope are refined and we're ready to move on to the next step - bringing the design to life!First we develop the field drawings which detail every aspect of the work to be performed. At this point we obtain your approval for the layout so that we can place the cabinet order. While the cabinets are being produced, we take you through the process of selecting the style and color for the rest of the materials such as the countertops, flooring, backsplash, fixtures and other elements of the design. Once the cabinets arrive, we'll schedule the start of your project. The work in the field is managed via the lead carpenter system. The lead carpenter is responsible for every aspect of the work to be performed. This hands-on approach has proven to be the most effective means of managing the complexities that are invariably a part of every kitchen remodel. To support the field effort, we assign an internal project coordinator to expedite material deliveries and process change orders. Specialists such as the plumbers and electricians are brought in from companies that we've worked with many times in the past. They know our standards and have demonstrated an ability to respond to our scheduling requirements. When it's all said and done, every detail of the project is handled by a knowledgeable and experienced professional. So why not give us a call right now and schedule your initial consultation? After all, it's free -- and you're sure to get some great ideas.
