SILICONE RUBBER CONSTRUCTION

EESeal EMI filters (and transient suppressors) are made of resilient and durable silicone rubber, the same super-resilient and durable material used in the interface of high-reliability, ruggedized military connectors. Their patented construction allows them to survive even extreme environmental abuse.



ADAPTS TO REAL WORLD ABUSE

The EESeal has been extensively tested to ensure it is suitable for hi-rel environments, and they are routinely used in aerospace and space applications. EESeal's elastomeric body adapts to real-world variations & stress commonly associated with connectors (misaligned and bent pins, severe shock and vibration, rough handling, contamination, etc.) EESeal also withstands an onslaught of MIL-STD and DO-160 mechanical and environmental conditions, such as vibration, shock, salt-spray, thermal-cycling, etc.



FITS IN MOST CONNECTORS

EMI Filter inserts can be custom made to fit in almost any connector and are smaller, lighter, and more easily installed than filtered connectors, filter adapters, and other types of EMI Filters. Compatible connectors include MIL-C-38999, MIL-C-26482, MIL-C-5015, MIL-C-83723, ARINC, Lemo, MDM, DSubminiature and many custom connectors too.

Custom filter pin assignments allows use of a variety of capacitor values, MOVs, and other components in the same EESeal. Custom labels and part colors available, and we can ID individual parts or part types by label or color. Discrete capacitors ranging from .5pF to 2uF with voltage ratings from 25wvdc to over 1000wvdc are available, and you can add MOVs, resistors, and other components too.
