I have always had a passion for animals as far back as I can remember. I've never known a time in my life that I didn't have a pet. When my boys were young, I took them to a Disney movie called "Babe". The movie was about a pig (Babe) who wanted to learn to herd sheep. There was a border collie in the movie named "Fly" whom I fell in love with. Shortly after that we bought our first border collie and named her Shelby. She turned out to be my constant companion and loved our family unconditionally. She had a great life and died 2 years ago at the age of 12. Her spirit lives on in me and she has been the inspiration for shelbyspetshop.com.
