We are currently a privately-held American-owned Company formed by private investors. Our design criteria targeted the American consumer with a four direct hits:



1. Travel 100 miles a a single charge.

2. Recharge using existing 110 volt or 220 volt outlets.

3. Perform better than their gasoline powered counterparts on all highways.

4. Cost around $25, 000.



VMC is focused on building the right vehicle at the right price for the market. There is a sense of urgency in our Company that has been missing from the Auto industry for a long time. It keeps us focused on the goal of getting plugin Electric Vehicles into the hands of consumers as soon as possible.

There are two major market drivers for plugin electric vehicles; the price of oil, and the desire for energy independence by Americans. The price of oil is above $80 a barrel and not likely to come back down. It is also making a mess of our environment. Each year of VMC's plugin electric vehicle production will replace as much as 50 million gallons of oil to national reserves.



Reducing your cost of commuting to work to about 75 cents a day will put money back in your pocket and establish your independence from foreign sources of energy. Electricity is 100% American made energy.



The excellent jobs created by our Company in Whitley County, Kentucky-one of the most economically challenged Congressional Districts in the nation-will be vital to the economy. The VMC vehicles are up to 70% American made, providing stable, high-paying jobs for Americans. One more thing. The profits stay in America as long as VMC is privately held.



Do you know what we discovered about consumers who drive our plugin electric vehicles? Well, it was supposed to be the second car, behind the gasoline-powered car. What really happened was remarkable. People parked their internal combustion cars, and drove our PHEV's almost exclusively. They didn't buy any gasoline for weeks at a time. They also restored those hundreds of little trips around town they love because they could afford to drive and had the spare money to start shopping again. Now that's economic stimulus.



There is no liquid petroleum in our vehicles. Our manufacturing plant is pollution free. There are no water, belts, hoses, or filters that litter our landfills. We build green vehicles the green way.
