Strategic Communication Consulting Group (SCCG) is a consulting firm that focuses on chronic policy issues by pursuing data collection and analysis designed to produce strategies to bring together key community and business leadership to systemically resolve these issues and enhance economic opportunities working through economic expansion and development. This skill is derived from experience and knowledge applied over a 20+ year period from both an internal and advisory consulting practice. Headquartered in El Paso, TX, SCCG works to identify, address, and resolve chronic policy impediments most recently in the area of strategic engagement in the education process to bring together key leadership in education and business as a means to resolve the chronic under-performance of the Hispanic cohort as a means to pave the way to higher skills to meet higher educational requirements from within the greater El Paso, Southern New Mexico and Northern Mexico region that comprises the greater El Paso area. The objective is to apply principles in an integrative manner between the supply ( education system) and the demand (the business/economy) as a means to provide economic growth within the region so that higher educated graduates have real options within the region in discovering their portals for individual economic prosperity. Despite the statistics reflecting the advantages of post secondary education, attainment in the Hispanic cohort is disproportional to its size and growth, in part because of the lack of demand in regional economies such as the greater El Paso area. The key to individual and community based wealth is a skilled workforce able to compete globally. Without the engagement of the supply and demand chain in workforce the attraction for pursuit of post secondary education remains a challenge. This is but one example of the resources and thought leadership that SCCG brings to education and other chronic policy issues tied into the basic elements of economic development and the effective strategies leading towards a solution.
