SuckerPunch was founded back in 2011 by David van Alphen with the idea of just creating a better pickle. Being a stay at home dad and part-time artist and illustrator allowed him the time and flexibility to grow his idea into a business.

It all started with the pickle. David got sick and tired of all those pansy pickles out there so he decided to start experimenting and come up with his own pickle. After months of trial and error, he believed he had finally come up with that exceptional pickle. When you take that first bite, you taste a touch of dill and sweetness then POW! You get Sucker Punched with the spice and garlic.

Being from a Dutch family, David also likes adding pickle juice to his Bloody Marys. He figured he'd take it a step further and puree the pickles right into the mix to give it a thick consistency. As you can see by the chart below, that's all that was needed for a great tasting Bloody Mary Mix without all the garbage.
