History

In 1979, after 10 years in the plumbing industry, we began The Part Works in our garage, with a small basement office where Sandy handled the bookkeeping while caring for our 3 young children. After 9 months working from our garage, we moved The Part Works into a 7,500 square foot warehouse in Fremont, an old Seattle neighborhood, where we stayed for 19 years.

From our humble beginnings, we quickly grew to 19 employees taking care of hundreds of customers in Washington and Oregon. In 2000, we outgrew the Fremont warehouse and moved to a 16,000 square foot warehouse south of downtown Seattle. We now have 30 employees caring for thousands of customers in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Alaska.

The Part Works primary focus is plumbing repair parts and specialties including faucet, urinal and toilet parts, antimicrobial plumbing, tubular, accessories, heating and pumps, backflow prevention, and hydrant parts. We also supply complete units, partitions, chemicals and tools. We specialize in helping our customers locate obsolete and hard to find items. The Part Works currently stocks over 10,000 parts and offers more than 65,000 cataloged items.
