Three Way History

Three Way began in 1954, as a furniture delivery company serving the San Francisco Bay Area. The original name, "Three Way, " was chosen for the primary compass points of directions a truck could be driven from the San Francisco Bay Area: North, South and East.

Since that time, our name has taken on a substantially different meaning and now reflects our ability to provide total transportation services by land, air and sea.

Three Way has exceeded the original expectations due to the efforts and determination of those who have built the company. Those efforts were in response to the ever changing transportation requirements of our customers in the high technology industry that started in Northern California.

We are a leader in the transportation industry specializing in medical electronics, computer chip fabricators, computer servers, and space satellites. Many of these shipments are sensitive to temperature, humidity, and vibration, and require special handling. We pride ourselves on our ability to grow with our customers, and continually strive to improve the quality of our service.

Three Way continues to grow in the direction based on the ever-changing requirements of our customers. Three Way has grown from a family run company to a company our customers can rely on, with over 300 employees in locations across the U.S.
